Why did you choose BB&N? And why do you love giving tours?
I chose BB&N in 6th grade because it gave me the opportunity to gain a really good education and also be in Cambridge, near the heart of the city. BB&N offered me an academic challenge with a community of peers and teachers that want me to succeed.
What activities are you involved in?
Aside from being a tour guide and being on the Student Admissions Board, I am a captain on the Varsity Squash and Crew teams. I am also a Bivouac Junior Guide and run the South Asian Student Alliance.
What BB&N tradition do you love the most?
Bivouac is probably my favorite BB&N tradition. It’s a great way to start the year as a freshman, and I enjoy coming back as a Junior and Senior to help as a Junior Guide.
What do Honor, Scholarship, and Kindness mean to you?
Honor, scholarship, and kindness represent the diverse BB&N community around me. Despite all of our differences, every student comes to school ready to learn and interact with their peers, forming our wonderful community.
What is your favorite place on campus?
My favorite place is probably Harvard Square. Harvard Square is a nice escape from school during a free block and I can go get some food or go for a walk along the river to recharge.
What are you most looking forward to this school year?
I’m looking forward to Senior Spring Project in my final trimester, where I’ll be able to spend 40-50 hours a week enriching myself in different ways I’ve never had the chance to do as a student.
