Why did you choose BB&N? And why do you love giving tours?

I chose BB&N because of its rigorous academics and devoted student body. I wanted to go to a school that challenged me academically and pushed me to learn. Not only do the classes encourage me to try my hardest, but the motivation from the other students at BB&N helps me reach my full potential. I love giving tours because BB&N has given me the ability to be the best version of myself, and I want to be able to share my experience with other people.

What activities are you involved in?

I am a Vanguard Photographer, POV Production Manager, member of the Jewish Culture Club, member of the Formula 1 club, singer in our a cappella group, member of the chorale, and a Boys and Girls Varsity Soccer Team Manager.

What BB&N tradition do you love the most?

The BB&N tradition I love the most is Friday Knight Lights. One Friday in the fall, the Parents Association organizes a night where students get free t-shirts and food at the Varsity Soccer game. There are cool decorations and a BB&N merchandise stand. A lot of students get dressed up in their BB&N gear or to fit a theme we decide on and go to cheer on the team. It is just a really fun tradition that I am really going to miss after I leave BB&N.

What do Honor, Scholarship, and Kindness mean to you?

Honor, Scholarship, and Kindness to me mean being true to yourself and others while always putting your best foot forward and trying your best at everything you do.

What is your favorite place on campus?

My favorite place on campus is either the courtyard or the steps of the woodshop, mostly in the fall and the spring. The courtyard is always a fun place to be, especially in the spring when people play Spikeball and are always outside. I also love to do my homework on the steps or in the courtyard because there is always the background noise of sports practices or other people.

What are you most looking forward to this school year?

I am most looking forward to getting to do my Senior Spring Project. It is a really unique opportunity that BB&N offers the Senior class to stop taking classes and get internships and pursue projects we choose that let us expand on things we are really passionate about or interested in.
