Middle School Trip Takes Students on a Winter Adventure

By BB&N February 2, 2023

It was well worth the wait for the annual Winter Adventure Day at the Middle School after it was postponed on January 20th because of rain. The students got to celebrate the end of the first semester at Waterville Valley Resort in New Hampshire, where the weather cooperated on the rescheduled day, bringing plenty of snow for tubing, skiing, snowboarding, hiking, games, and of course, drinking hot chocolate.

This event, organized every year by the Parents’ Association, is a way for middle schoolers to unwind and relax with friends after a fall semester filled with hard work and achievements. In the spirit of sustainability, the PA spent the month leading up to the event collecting winter coats, gloves, hats, snow pants, ski boots, and goggles for the students to borrow if needed. A special thank you to Sarah Ludden Deighton, Emily Cooper, and Katie McCullough for their tireless work to make this trip special for the students.
