BB&N Community Comes Together for Homecoming and Head of the Charles
In another combined Homecoming and Head of the Charles weekend, BB&N current families, friends, and alumni all gathered across Cambridge to celebrate the Knights. Starting Friday with a rousing victory for the football team and ending Sunday with the men’s U17 four boat, spirits for the blue and gold stayed high all weekend.
From the field to the court, the Knights continued a dominant season, with football blanking Belmont Hill 28-0 on a rainy Friday night, and boys varsity soccer winning a tight 2-1 contest versus Milton Academy. In the gym, the varsity volleyball team once again swept their opponents in 3 sets.
On the water, BB&N had boats helmed by alumni, students, and even alumni competing for their universities. Senior Will Sammons ’27 and Coach Holland won the Men’s Grand Master Eights, while alumna Hayley Hicks ’24 won gold as a coxswain with the Harvard lightweight crew.
Fans of the Knights also enjoyed the competitions while munching on doughnuts from Wilson Farms and spending time with the BB&N community. After a successful weekend, fans and athletes alike look forward to finishing the season strong.
