Knights Gather for a Celebration of School Spirit
Nearly three years after the first pep rally, students of all ages gathered in the NAC last week to celebrate the Knights. In preparation for a big two weeks on the field and the court, including Homecoming this weekend, captains from the varsity teams introduced all sports and the Lower School as they entered to a raucous crowd featuring music by the Upper School orchestra.
After the rousing start to the rally, students from all grades participated in a mixed-age relay where students had to quickly unpack a hockey bag, get dressed in the clothes inside, and run back to the start. Following the competition, there was a dance party where students had to stop moving when the music paused.
To close out an hour of Knight spirit, the Lower School led the whole crowd in sharing their new school song. Bringing back a favorite from the last rally, confetti rained down as the students exited the NAC, pumped up for two weeks of Knight matchups.
