BB&N Involvement: Edlawit '24

Why did you choose BB&N? And why do you love giving tours?

I chose BB&N because of the welcoming nature of the students when I first toured. My tour guide was amazing and the student life here was so comforting and welcoming!

What activities are you involved in?

I am involved with the Student Activities Committee, SHADES, and Empower at BB&N. Outside of school, I work with two nonprofit organizations!

What BB&N tradition do you love the most?

I LOVE the knighting ceremony! The competitive environment, the freshmen’s joy, the spirit…unbeatable.

What do Honor, Scholarship, and Kindness mean to you?

These are values that I strive to live up to every day as a student. These are the values that drive my love for learning and for BB&N.

What is your favorite place on campus?

My favorite place on campus is the ceramics studio. Mr. Tonsgard is an amazing teacher and the environment in that classroom is just so easygoing.

What are you most looking forward to this school year?

I am most looking forward to my time in Italy, where I’ll be doing a semester away program 🙂
