Many donors choose to make gifts of appreciated stocks, bonds, mutual funds, or exchange-traded funds because of their potential tax benefits, including avoidance of capital gains taxes. To transfer appreciated securities to BB&N, please share this information with your broker.

If you are age 70 ½ or older, you may be eligible to make a tax-free donation directly from your IRA. Learn more here about Qualified Charitable Distributions from an IRA and how to request a gift from your IRA administrator.
