Kindyll Dorsey

Associate Director of Athletics, Head Girls' Varsity Basketball Coach
Coach Dorsey has served as girls’ varsity basketball coach and Associate Director of Athletics since rejoining BB&N full-time in 2018. She previously served as head coach of the program from 2012 to 2014. Prior to her return to BB&N, Dorsey was the assistant women’s basketball coach at Northeastern University. She also served as a head coach in the New England Crusaders AAU program from 2007 and 2014. Under her direction, she aided elite high school student-athletes in improving their conceptual understanding of the game while providing them with a platform to continue academics and athletics at the collegiate level. Dorsey was also head coach at Merrimack High School, where she was nominated for New Hampshire Coach of the Year during the 2008-09 season. A four-year letter winner and captain of the women’s basketball team at Boston College, Dorsey graduated with a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts in 2007. During her career, she helped the Eagles win the 2004 BIG EAST championship and make three NCAA tournament appearances, including two trips to the regional semifinals (2004, 2006). Dorsey also played professionally for the Sandyford Meteors in Sandyford, Ireland in 2008. Coach Dorsey takes great pride in mentoring student-athletes in their academic, athletic, and social experiences.

The JV Lacrosse team is looking forward to another successful season. Learning new skills along with live game action in practice will be instrumental in developing the player’s fundamentals throughout the season as well as giving them feedback with results they can relate to immediately. Working on the finer details of the game, and establishing roles in practice and in games will help further them as players.
