Since the 1950s, students finished their 12th grade year by painting square ceramic tiles. The tiles are displayed on two large panels in the Upper School. The intention is for Seniors to look back at their experience at BB&N and create an image that represents their time on campus. Subjects range from sports to music to pop culture. There are several subjects that crop up throughout the different decades, such as beloved children’s books, cartoon characters, and historical figures.
