The BB&N Art Department invites interested parents to join Han Bennick, the renowned jazz drummer and percussionist at the US on February 1 at 12:40 PM.  Bennick  will conduct a workshop for interested students and members of the BB&N community.

Drop your students off for an evening of fun, music, dancing, snacks and hanging out. This is a student only event. The MS sponsors two "Mixes" each year - one in the fall, one in the winter. The Mixes are chaperoned by faculty and parent volunteers. The doors are open from 7-7:30pm. Admission is $5. Any late arrivals need to be pre-approved by the Grade Dean; students are required to stay for the entire Mix. All students must be picked up by a parent. Any student walking home must have advanced approval. Students may invite up to 2 guests who must be registered in advance by signing up in the Front Office by Friday at dismissal. All BB&N students are responsible for their guests and must familiarize them with the rules and expectations. Pick up is promptly at 9:30pm.

Required for all parents and students. Registration begins at 8:30 AM. When the lot at the Main School Building is full, please park in Lot 4 (see attached map). A shuttle will be available to bring you to the Workshop. The last shuttle pick up will be at 8:55 AM, so please plan accordingly. Additionally, if you plan to attend the optional workshop on Financial Aid at 1:00 PM, please RSVP immediately. 

Save the date! Join the families that are in your child's classroom building for skating on a winter Saturday afternoon. LSPA grade reps will be in touch with you in the New Year about the details. Students must have their own helmets and skates (no rentals).

Jamie Wallace, MS learning specialist, Cara Falconi, MS academic support specialist, Lisa Bennett, LS learning specialist and Dr. Jacqueline Kieff, LS psychologist, will discuss how to read and interpret the ERB scores and how we use ERB results at BBN. We will answer general questions if time permits.

Art Exhibition at the BB&N Upper School Art Gallery 

The US Gallery,  located on first floor of the US, near the student computer stations off the cafeteria, will feature an exhibition titled The Owl Show that will feature over 100 owls created by students and faculty from the Middle and Upper Schools. 

The exhibition will run from February 9th through March 15th.  A lively gallery reception will take place on Thursday, February 9th  from 4:30 - 7:00 PM.  All are welcome.  It will be a real hoot!

A Discussion with Mo Zelaya and Fred Coyne of College Counseling

Please join us for a Junior Parent Coffee on Wednesday, February 22nd at 7:50 AM.   Mo Zelaya and Fred Coyne of College Counseling will be our speakers.  We have had great turnouts for the Parent Coffees.  Come join fellow parents for an open college discussion with Mo and Fred.

PLEASE NOTE:  This coffee will be held at the BB&N offsite location at 46 Belmont Street in Watertown.  There is parking in the lot attached to the building, as well as street parking.
