Hi! My name is Olivia and I am a junior at BB&N. I spend almost all my time at gymnastics, but when I get some free hours I love hanging out with my friends, baking, drawing, and writing. I love the outdoors and being with my dog, too. 

Hi! I’m Yancheng, a senior, and this is my sixth and last year at BB&N. I love getting involved with school activities, including clubs, publications, and events. I’m a captain for the robotics and sailing team, the managing editor for The Vanguard, and a co-president of Computer Science Club. Outside of school, I play the cello and help organize hackathons.

Hi! I’m a senior and this is now my fourth and final year at BB&N. I try to involve myself in a variety of activities, such as JV hockey, costume crew, affinity clubs, singing in the school’s chorale & a cappella, and being a senior prefect. Outside of school, I enjoy reading, arts & crafts, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.

Hello! My name is Grant, I am a senior in my fourth and final year at BB&N. My favorite ways of staying engaged and active are being a tour guide, guiding conversations at AASA, and playing Spikeball with my friends. At home, I enjoy drawing, cooking, eating food, and listening to music! 

Hello! My name is Caroline, and I am a senior. I am the co-president of the Creative Writing and Chinese Language Clubs and author of the Vanguard Senior column “Caroline’s Classics.” Outside of school, I am an active Girl Scout and book and film collector.

Hey! I’m Hailey, and I am a sophomore at BB&N. Most of my extracurricular time is spent on dance and wushu training for national and international competitions, playing the flute, acting, and writing. In school, I love participating in many clubs such as AASA, DECA, and Psychology and Neuroscience, and involving myself in the orchestra/chamber music, pit band, and theater arts programs. 

I’m Quinn, I’m a junior at BB&N. I have three siblings, two of whom are at BB&N, as well as a dog named Nancy. I play for the Varsity volleyball and rowing teams, and in my spare time, I love running and walking with my friends. At school, I co-lead FemCo, am an editor at the Point of View Magazine, a Peer Tutor, and serve on the Disciplinary Committee. My favorite movie is Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, and my favorite food is ice cream!

Hi! My name is James and I am a freshman at BB&N. I am the Co-President of the Golf For Care Club and enjoy hosting those events. I’ve been on the Varsity Golf team since eighth grade, and enjoy being part of both the Robotics and Speech & Debate teams. Throughout middle school I was the cover artist and wrote for the Spark Newspaper at BB&N and contribute to the Vanguard now. Currently I’m part of the freshman Jazz band and play the piano. I enjoy reading, writing, drawing, photography, golf outside of school, and watching movies.

Hi! I’m Christine Tao and I’m a junior at BB&N. At school, I captain the Varsity Golf Team, founded Golf For Care–a club that teaches golf to people with disabilities and veterans–serve as a junior editor for The Vanguard, our school newspaper, am the POV’s cover artist, and work as a tour guide for the Ambassador Office, among many things. Beyond school, I enjoy hanging out with friends, trying different kinds of Dubai chocolate, and golfing. I’m really excited for you to get to know me through my blogs!
