Knight Spirit on Display at 2025 Homecoming Weekend and Head of the Charles

By Hannah Garcia October 22, 2025

Last weekend, members of the BB&N community took full advantage of the sunny fall weather to support the Knights in a full slate of competitions and festivities over Homecoming weekend. With fun activities on Friday afternoon, like bounce houses, cornhole, and foam, BB&N started off the weekend with food and fun for the whole family.

Boys’ Varsity Soccer and Girls’ Varsity Volleyball dominated at the main campus, beating the Groton School 5-1 on the field and 3-0 on the court. The next day, Girls Varsity Soccer also beat Groton, providing the perfect setup for football under the lights at Grove Street. Football had a walk-off victory over Milton Academy, winning 24-22 after senior Vince Snoonian ’26 kicked a game-winning field goal.

After a busy first two days, the Knights capped off the weekend at the 60th-annual Head of the Charles Regatta on Saturday and Sunday. The alumnae’s eight boat launched at 11:10 a.m., featuring rowers from six classes. On Sunday, the women’s U17 four, women’s youth four, and men’s youth four all took to the river to compete for BB&N while fans watched from the viewing party at the boathouse.

It was a beautiful fall weekend full of knight spirit, including new alumni events and the Strawberry Night reunion, which past, present, and future members of the BB&N community will remember for years to come.
