2025 Marina Keegan Fellowship Winners Present Their Projects
Every year, BB&N honors author and alumna Marina Keegan ’08 through a fellowship dedicated to helping students dream big and complete independent projects. This year’s recipients, Charlotte Garrity ’26 and Olivia Richter ’26, presented a snapshot of their completed studies to their peers at the first assembly of 2026.
Marina Keegan was a prolific author, essayist, and journalist at BB&N and Yale before her tragic death in a car accident five days after graduating from college. Her essay, “The Opposite of Loneliness,” went viral online and was subsequently posthumously published in hardcover, securing a legacy of kindness and insight. These qualities are also evident in the current BB&N students who receive this fellowship every year.
