Lacrosse – Girls Varsity

The lacrosse program operates through core values of character, accountability, & selflessness, through which BB&N ensures that student-athletes who enter the program leave well-rounded individuals, who can excel at the next level academically and athletically.

Taylor Clancy

Director of Sports Media and Information, Head Girls Varsity Lacrosse Coach
Entering her third year with the girls varsity lacrosse program and first as head coach, Coach Clancy brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to the team. Prior to joining BB&N, she was the girls varsity lacrosse coach at Braintree High School for four years and spent eight years as a strength and conditioning coach, honing her skills in athlete development. Currently, she serves as the Director of Sports Media and Information at BB&N. In addition to leading the varsity lacrosse team, Coach Clancy coaches middle school cross country and serves as the assistant coach for girls varsity basketball. Outside of BB&N, she is a head coach with the club Boston Laxachusetts. A graduate of Bridgewater State University with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science, Coach Clancy was a three-sport collegiate athlete in lacrosse, indoor track, and cross country. This diverse athletic background has shaped her belief in the value of multi-sport participation, emphasizing the importance of hard work and positive energy. Coach Clancy is dedicated to fostering an inclusive environment within the team, where encouragement and healthy competition go hand in hand. She is excited to lead her athletes in their journey, both on and off the field.

BB&N competes as a member of the competitive ISL (Independent School League) and NEPSAC (New England Prep School Athletic Conference), playing many of the top schools in New England. The Girls Lacrosse program prides itself on developing student-athletes that are both great players and great teammates.
