Even as a sophomore, Hannah Curhan ’23 still benefited from the mentorship of her Middle School Drama Teacher, Ms. Crewdon. During the winter, Crewdon showed Curhan an email from the METG (Massachusetts Educational Theater Guild), calling for submissions to its first-ever monologue contest.
At BB&N a number of priorities and programs help our students prepare to thrive in broader fields. Some programs—such as Senior Spring Project, Freshman Bivouac, and community service—are key parts of the curricular structure at the Upper School. Other programs—such as foreign travel, study abroad, and multicultural events—are optional but highly recommended opportunities for students to experience a wide range of cultures, backgrounds, and experiences.
We also encourage students to seek out positions of leadership during their journey through the Upper School. These special events and programs offer ample opportunity for that, as does participation in athletics, clubs, and organizations.
