My first semester of college was full of exciting changes to my high school life, but there is one aspect of collegiate life that really took me by surprise, more so than others. This big shocker was all the free time!
Every Friday afternoon my AP Art History class boards a bus at exactly 1:30 to spend the last two periods of the week studying in the Museum of Fine Arts. And each week I run from the ceramics studio to the fishbowl, grabbing my pencil and sketchbook along the way. That sketchbook is now full of numerous pieces in the MFA’s collection ranging from Ancient Egypt to the Italian Renaissance, as well as some doodles made during our Classical Revival Architecture Scavenger Hunt around Beacon Hill.
