Middle School Girls Conquer Another Math Problem
As the final Girls Math Collaboration of the year, the middle schoolers were ready for whatever complicated problems faced their group. When tasked with solving the most difficult puzzle yet, the students more than rose to the challenge and completed it in a record two hours and fifteen minutes.
A total of 27 collaborators launched into action after presenting the obstacle, working together to solve algebra questions, geometry prompts, and even graphing challenges. Together, they solved over five multi-step problems and unlocked a chest of goodies in record time.
The Middle School hosts two of these competitions annually and is open to all students who identify as female, transgender, or gender expansive. Stay tuned to see what next year’s tests bring!
