Trips & Travel Opportunities
Each year, the Upper School sponsors international travel opportunities as a way for students to gain an appreciation for other cultures, practice foreign languages, expand their knowledge of world history, absorb local customs and concepts, while challenging comfort zones and embracing a greater sense of global awareness.
The trips, which are led by faculty, vary in length and kind—some include home stays with families, others emphasize touring and hotel stays; while the Spanish, French, Chinese, and Russian trips are part of established school exchange programs.
Some of the foreign trips take place during the School’s two-week break in March; some take place in the summer.
We are proud to be able to offer financial assistance for trips each year. Financial Assistance for trips is only provided to families that currently receive aid for tuition. There is no separate application to request aid for a trip. Simply request aid via your responses on the Trip Application Form. For more information or questions regarding assistance please contact Colleen O'Connor at firstname.lastname@example.org.
