Upper School classrooms buzzed with fervent speeches on Sunday, December 3 as BB&N hosted a Parliamentary Debate Tournament for its DANEIS League cohort. Over 160 competitors from 22 schools convened for the event.
While St. Paul’s School took the day with first prize overall, BB&N placed fifth in the school standings, and Chris Attisani ’18 and Harry Golen ’19 earned second place among advanced two-person teams.
Earlier this fall, Adam Levin ’18 and Aurash Vatan ’19 qualified at the Internationals in Winnipeg, Canada, for the World Individual Debating and Public Speaking Championship, to be held in Cape Town, South Africa, where they will head in April with Head Speech and Debate Team Coach Sarah Getchell.
