Lower School Gives Back at Community Day

Sixth graders join Beginners to deliver herbs to
Cambridge neighbors.

Last week Lower School students, teachers, and parents gathered for Community Day on the Lower School campus. The day revolved around community service, with each grade focusing on a specific cause or organization. From planting herbs to give to local Cambridge neighbors, to delivering “thank you” gifts for the Cambridge Fire Department, and contributing supplies to various nonprofit organizations such as Cradles to Crayons and Y2Y Harvard Square, the Lower School community truly showed their giving spirit.

In Lower School Director Anthony Reppucci’s closing words to students, he highlighted that “community means two things: first, looking inward and creating our school community, and second, looking outward to serve others. Today you have really accomplished something.”
