This fall sports season at BB&N was far from normal, but student-athletes, coaches, trainers, and administrators worked hard to deliver an enjoyable experience despite the challenges created by COVID-19. Students had a myriad of options through which to stay active, be it soccer, football, field hockey, volleyball, cross country, fishing, kayaking, or other after school activities. It was great to see the vast majority of the community choose to participate in what was a safe way to engage athletically and socialize with one another.
The varsity programs competed in three interscholastic friendlies against other Independent School League institutions, including Rivers, Nobles and Greenough, and Lawrence Academy. Despite the circumstances, we are proud of our student-athletes for tackling every challenge and roadblock with grit, determination, and a smile tucked beneath each mask. We are looking forward to a successful winter, and hopefully, a slightly more normal spring!
