Head of the Charles Regatta
The BB&N community gathered on the banks of the Charles River on a beautiful fall weekend to celebrate and cheer on BB&N’s crew team. The weekend kicked off with an alumni/ae reception on Saturday evening allowing friends and alums of all ages to reconnect under strings of lights along the river. Touring the boathouse with refreshments in hand, the memories made the night all the sweeter.
Sunday saw four shells race for BB&N, including the Mens’ and Womens’ U-17 Fours which both posted excellent times to finish 14th and 1oth respectively in very competitive draws. The day was marked by a robust crowd of parents, students, and alums who cheered the rowers and enjoyed a festive day along the Charles.
“We had more than 30 alums—ranging from 1955 to 2022—stop by the boathouse to cheer on our student rowers,” says Associate Director of Alumni/ae Engagement & Giving, Brianna Smith ’10. “It was great to see so many recent alumni/ae rowers come back!”
