The annual Head of the Charles Regatta takes place this weekend and the BB&N boathouse is where to catch the action! Join students, alumni/ae, and parents to cheer on the crew teams, and enjoy some hot chocolate and clam chowder during the fun.

Nothing brings a class together like an outdoor adventure, and for the 67th year now, BB&N’s Bivouac program achieved just that. Despite being outside of their comfort zones and enduring a lack of smartphones (gasp!), the resilient members of The Class of 2023 tackled Bivouac head-on, returning to campus with a bevy of memories that will last a lifetime.
On Friday, September 20th many BB&N students participated in the Global Climate Strike.
BB&N's Upper School campus came alive last weekend during the school's Homecoming and Family Fall Festival. Members from all strata of the BB&N community joined in the festivities which included games, a parent-run picnic, bouncy houses, an airbrush tattoo artist, and much more.
This summer, Upper School English Department Chair Sharon Krauss traveled to Somerset, England to co-teach a creative writing workshop to students at the Latymer School with British novelist Tim Clare. Facilitated by Round Square, the trip proved fruitful in many regards: growing BB&N global initiatives, expanding faculty professional development, and providing Krauss with an experience she won't soon forget.
Four BB&N seniors have received top honors in the annual Junior Profile Contest, the final event in the cornerstone English project for all eleventh graders. Deliberating over the summer, a panel of judges—writers and editors outside of BB&N—has awarded first prize to Sylvia Murphy '19, second prize to Eve Fantozzi '19, and third prize (tie) to Theo Dadagian '19 and Julian Li '19.
Middle Schoolers held on to summer for a little while longer at last week's Ice Cream Social.

BB&N’s youngest learners were treated to one of humanity’s earliest forms of entertainment when professional storyteller Len Cabral visited BB&N last week. Renowned for his engaging style and ability to immerse listeners in a narrative, Cabral held students in rapt attention throughout his series of humorous fables, tales, and poems.
Cheers filled the Middle School hallways as the seventh grade class and four eighth grade banner recipients were welcomed up the stairs to the big room for this year's Motto Assembly on Wednesday, September 4th.
Donning their "CommunKnighty" T-shirts, Lower School students and faculty celebrated the start of the school year on Wednesday with an opening assembly that brought the entire campus together.
