Hello, Lower School Families!
I’m not sure why every year I get surprised by how swiftly August goes, and yet here we are again. I’m hoping you’re all able to still be firmly living in the moment, enjoying these hot days and not yet thinking TOO much about the fall. It’ll be here soon enough!
I wanted to reach out to you now because soon, I’ll be on maternity leave. There will be a covering counselor, and your child’s homeroom teacher will be able to connect you with the counselor about any concerns you might be having at the start of school and into the fall.
In the meantime, I’d like to share with you something I worked on over the summer. If you follow this link, you will find a new LS Counseling Resources site that I made. My hope is that this site can be a go-to page for wellness resources and useful links, many of which I often get asked for, and some of which I felt might be helpful to have “on hand” in a more accessible way. The listings on the page are by no means exhaustive, and I’ll be adding more and editing as time goes on. Please note: This page is for parent use only and is not intended for student use.
I will miss seeing you all on campus this fall and look forward to seeing you when the weather is a bit cooler.
