Thank you for your interest in BB&N, a school with a distinguished past, superb present, and unlimited future. We’re honored that you are considering placing your education, or that of your son or daughter, in our hands at the Upper School.
From the perspective of a 35-year career in independent education in various parts of the country, I tell prospective parents with great sincerity that if there is such a thing as an ideal setting for an independent school in the United States, I cannot imagine a better choice than BB&N’s location. The richness of the metropolitan Boston and Cambridge community both informs our internal program and offers us an opportunity to think in unique ways about what education means and how to first find and then nourish the “inner light” of every student.
We are committed to bringing out the very best in each student by finding her or his passion and then promoting it through unique educational, extracurricular, and cocurricuar programs, the results of which speak for themselves. The key is to accomplish this in an atmosphere that also encourages having fun and serving others.
To me, BB&N represents a stunning mosaic where every student’s unique abilities and talents are polished into bright pieces and then set in a design where the beauty of the whole exceeds any individual piece. I hope you will enjoy exploring the possibility of joining our community.
