Exchange & Travel Programs
Each year, the Upper School sponsors foreign travel opportunities as a way for students to participate in foreign cultures, practice foreign languages, appreciate world history, and expand their horizons. The trips, which are led by faculty, vary in length and kind—some include home stays with families, others emphasize touring and hotel stays; while the trips to France and Russia are part of established school exchange programs.
Some of the foreign trips take place during the school’s two-week break in March; some take place in the summer.
The School provides financial aid assistance to support foreign travel.
Below are travel programs that took place in 2007-08:
RUSSIA - On this program, BB&N students hosted the Russian students from our sister school for two weeks in April and traveled to Russia in June.
