Special Events & Programs Upper School 9-12

At BB&N a number of priorities and programs help our students prepare to thrive in broader fields by encouraging participation in special programs. Some programs—such as senior spring project, freshman bivouac, and community service—are key parts of the curricular structure at the Upper School. Other programs—such as foreign travel, study abroad, and multicultural events—are optional but highly recommended opportunities for students to open themselves up to a wide range of cultures, backgrounds, and experiences.

We also encourage students to seek out positions of leadership during their journey through the Upper School. These special events and programs offer ample opportunity for that, as does participation in athletics and clubs and organizations.
