Athletics Upper School 9-12

The Upper School athletics program offers something for everyone, including varsity, JV, and some “3rd” teams, plus classes on health and fitness, strength and conditioning, and other recreational activities.

This balance among team sports, physical education, and health is a core component of the Upper School experience at BB&N.

Our BB&N Knights compete—very successfully—in 16 sports for boys and girls. These programs compete in the Independent School League (ISL), and some programs schedule contests against New England Prep School Athletic Conference (NEPSAC) opponents along with participating in postseason NEPSAC tournaments.

We value competitive sports for the lessons they teach about victory and defeat, leadership, and teamwork. And we value them for the sheer joy of competition so many of our students experience here.

Students are saying...

  • “In sports and in academics, they push you to be your best.”
