Annual Fund
Each year, members of the BB&N community are asked to support the School by making financial gifts to the Annual Fund. The Annual Fund is BB&N’s annual fundraising program with a goal of raising those funds necessary to bridge the gap in the operating budget created between tuition and the actual cost of a BB&N education. The Annual Fund underlies all independent education and is necessary to sustain the program of excellence that has come to define BB&N.
Whether you are a parent, alumnus, alumna, past parent, grandparent, faculty or staff member, current senior or friend, you have been impacted by the BB&N experience. Support of the Annual Fund helps ensure that the School continues to hire and retain the most qualified teachers, provide a challenging curriculum, and offer numerous extracurricular activities to continually challenge BB&N's diverse and talented student body.
Why support BB&N's Annual Fund?
Here are some excellent reasons:- Tuition alone does not cover the full cost of a BB&N education. There is a gap of nearly $6,680 per student between tuition and the actual cost of educating one student. Generous gifts to the Annual Fund are essential to bridging this gap in the operating budget of the School.
- All BB&N students, past and present, have benefited from Annual Fund support because of the generosity of donors who came before them. BB&N is our shared treasure and our collective responsibility to support.
- The Annual Fund provides support for all areas of the School, including, but not limited to faculty compensation and professional development, financial aid, academic programs, athletics, arts programs, and instructional resources.
- Contributions are tax-deductible.
- No matter what the amount, your gift is important. Many individual donors, along with foundations and corporations, look for a high percentage of donors from the school's community when considering their own financial support.
