Senior Day Camp: Gr 5-7

  summer big kids3

Now we have something special for our 5, 6, and 7th graders!

NEW: Due to its popularity last summer, we have expanded our Senior Camp to includecampers entering grades 5, 6, and 7.  Our Senior Day Camp Program is designed specifically for our older campers giving them a unique day camp experience separate from our

summer girlsyounger campers. Boys and Girls will enjoy a more advanced day camp experience with more activities and day trip excursions in and around Boston. (*campers with medical needs may need to make special arrangements to attend any off-site trip, that may include, but is not limited to, a parent chaperoning their child's trip).Grade determination is based on the grade the camper will be entering after camp/summer is complete. Campers are assigned groups that are structured to ensure gender equity and compatibility. These older campers may have up to 20 campers per group with a minimum of 2 counselors per group for a counselor:camper ratio of 1:10.  Each group will have a Head Counselor and an Assistant Counselor with all groups meeting in the gym. In general, campers will remain in their groups throughout the camp week.

Senior Campers will enjoy more advanced activities than regular campers and will also go on excursions throughout the week at least once per week. Activities will run for 60 minutes at a time and will include swimming, painting,

drama, dance, tennis, film making, computers,

technology, sports, robotics, pottery and more.  Excursions may include city adventures, professional sports games, and or amusement parks. The 5th Graders will have a trip day on

Tuesdays, the 6th Graders on Wednesday, and the 7th Graders on Thursday.  Each group will continue to enjoy instructional swim in the morning and recreational swim in the afternoon when they are on campus. All grades will have an opportunity to participate in all camp special events including the Jimmy Fund Fair. Snacks and lunches are provided daily. Early Morning and Extended Day options are available during the Senior Camp Program to provide parents/guardians with additional drop-off and pick-up times.
