Students and their families gathered at the Lower School this spring for another Family Science Saturday, this time to improve the Lower School garden and contribute to Zero Waste Day.
As the culmination of the English Department's sophomore debate program, each spring a group of ten "all-star" debaters argue a current controversial topic in front of their peers. This year's showdown centered around the hot-button issue of Edward Snowden and the National Security Agency leaks.
Each spring the Middle School campus gathers for the Favorite Poem Assembly, where members of the community volunteer to read a memorable poem, perform a piece of music, or present a video they have created.
Swings? Check. Slides? Check. Life-sized chess board? Checkmate! Lower School students were thrilled and surprised to find a new play structure on their playground this week; a giant canvass chess board replete with huge plastic chessmen.
