BB&N is pleased to introduce a new way for alumni/ae to stay connected: the BB&N EverTrue mobile app! No matter where you live or how busy your schedule is, you will be able to connect with other alums and keep up to date with the latest BB&N school and alumni/ae news. The app is available for iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, and Android.

Frequently Asked Questions What devices support the BB&N alumni/ae mobile app? The free app has cross-platform capabilities and is currently available for the iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, and Android devices. Blackberry currently does not support the application.
Do I need to register to use the app? To use the Directory, Local, and Class Notes, you'll need to sign in with your email address and name. You will then be prompted to verify the terms of use for the app through an email sent to you. After you initially enter your username and password, the app will remember the information. If your email is not accepted, please contact the Alumni/ae Office to verify your email on file: alumni_affairs@bbns.org or call (617) 800-2737. You can see the events, news, and social media pages without registering.
What do I do if I forgot my login credentials? Contact the Alumni/ae Office to verify your email on file: alumni_affairs@bbns.org or call (617) 800-2737.
What personal information will be available for alumni/ae to see? Unless you have previously modified your personal preferences, the following is automatically published for all alumni in the directory: name, street address, city, state, country, phone number, e-mail address, education, and employment.
Can I change my profile information in the mobile app? It is easy to update your contact information. Click “Update My Profile” in your record and include a message with the requested changes. This will be sent to our office. To protect the integrity of the alumni/ae database, you cannot directly change contact information in the mobile app in real time. Once received, we will make the changes for you and your profile will be updated. You may also suggest updates to the Alumni/ae Office about your fellow BB&N classmates, friends, and family using the Suggest an Update button at the bottom of the profile.
How do I connect the app with my LinkedIn account? The latest update of the app allows all alums to directly connect and professionally network using LinkedIn. When you are using the Directory, you are able to connect your personal LinkedIn account with the directory by clicking the yellow button "Login to LinkedIn for enhanced profiles." Once you are logged in, you will be able to see information that alums have chosen to include on their personal LinkedIn profiles along with how many connections you have in common. You can directly connect and network with other BB&N alumni/ae by clicking the yellow box "Connect with XX on LinkedIn". Any information that is provided by LinkedIn will appear on the profile screen with the LinkedIn icon to the right. Don't forget to list BB&N in your education information and to connect with our alumni/ae group on LinkedIn here.
When using the Local tool with the map, how do I locate alums in another location outside of my current location? Click the magnifying glass in the bottom right corner of the map. This will allow you to enter a specific town, state, country, or address to search. Zoom out by pinching two fingers together on the screen and then trail one finger to the desired area on the map. A blue pin will appear where alums are located.
Using the directory, can I get a list of my classmates? Yes, just enter your class year in the search field of the directory. Please note that our Buckingham School and Browne & Nichols School graduates will be shown in one joint list within their class years.
When using the map, how do I know who is in the area and in my class? Click the list button in the upper right-hand corner. This will generate a list of the alumni/ae in the area sorted by year.
Can I e-mail or call another alum directly from the app? Yes. While in the directory, tap the e-mail address of the alum you wish to contact and your e-mail provider will generate a message. If you click the phone number, your phone will begin to dial the number.
Will the Class Note I post in the mobile app appear in the bulletin? Class Notes posted in the mobile app are not guaranteed to be included in the bulletin. The mobile app’s Class Notes is a great way to share real time news like a reunion with BB&N alums or personal news that you wish to share with the entire alumni community. If you would like to have the Class Note also shared in the bulletin please contact alumni_affairs@bbns.org.
