Squash Club
|
A squash program was initiated at BB&N in 2007-08, based on which the BB&N Squash Club was established in September 2008 through the efforts of parents, students, and staff. This year the program runs four days per week and takes place at MIT. The coaches are Seth Packard, squash coach at MIT and a Level II Certified United States Squash Racquets Association Teaching Professional who was a four-year member of the Williams College varsity squash team, and Joel Sweetser, a teacher at the Upper School who has played and coached before joining BB&N. Students can play four days per week, or two days per week in combination with Health & Fitness. Squash is counted as a team sport and will appear as such in a student’s transcript. For further information, please contact Joel Sweetser, Faculty Advisor of the Squash Club or Abhi Mitra ’10, student president of the club.
