Community Family Fund II Established
BB&N is pleased to announce the establishment of a Community Family Fund II to "help address the unmet financial needs relating to a BB&N student's education at the school arising as a result of an unexpected or unforeseen family event that leads to a change in the family's circumstances."
The intent of this fund is to supplement the existing Community Family Fund, which was established in 2001 to help families in immediate need of tuition assistance following the death of a parent. This new Community Family Fund II, with its broader guidelines, may help fund expenses related to the school's mission, such as tuition, tutoring, and other auxiliary expenses associated with the student's education at BB&N.
"The fund is very much in keeping with the character of BB&N," says Woodie Haskins, Assistant Head of School for External Affairs. "This is a close-knit community that cares deeply and whose members never fail to lend a hand when members of our School family are in need."
