Our Campus
A safe haven for twelve-year olds leaving the comfort of their elementary school experience, and a forum for fourteen-year-olds trying out their new young adult personae, the Middle School is both an incubator and a springboard. The campus is located at 80 Sparks Street, in the midst of a beautiful Cambridge neighborhood.
The Middle School campus is centered around a 19th century Victorian mansion which houses the main academic spaces such as the Vaillant Wing, along with a newly renovated Library, the Admissions office, and the Director’s Office, and the “Big Room” – a multi-purpose activity space for theater, assemblies and other large group activities.
Originally the “garage” for the main house, the Carriage House now contains a technology classroom downstairs, and two upper levels of art studio space.
The most recent additions to the Middle School campus are the Science Labs which feature two state-of- the-art classrooms off the back of the main house.
Beneath a large, spreading beech tree are the yard and side garden, an outdoor recreation space which also serves as the staging ground for Middle School Graduation.
