Arts Middle School 7-8

A vibrant Middle School arts program immerses students in a variety of genres and styles in the visual and performing arts. The visual arts stress creative expression in drawing, painting, and sculpture, with opportunities for electives in such areas as pottery, stained glass, and printmaking. In drama and music, students learn increasingly sophisticated skills and techniques, and enjoy many opportunities to perform in front of their peers. And in all of the arts, students gain appreciation for the powerful role that art plays in building community.
