Running Late? Need to Reach us about pick up issues, or problems registering? Is there a change to your child's schedule? Not riding the bus today? Please email us: MSX@bbns.org
REGISTRATION Registration is entirely online with the use of a credit card or an electronic check.
ENROLLMENT Registration will be on a rolling basis and will continue throughout the school year. We will not run out of space in MSX. No official confirmations will be sent. Please report to the first class meeting unless otherwise notified.
CLASS SCHEDULE All after school programs are offered on a per semester basis. Each semester coincides with the half way point of the BB&N academic calendar. After School Programs are only held when school is in session for a full day. Please consult the appropriate After School Program web page to determine specific class meeting times and days.
WITHDRAWALS All Programs: No refunds will be granted for requests made after the start of the second meeting. In addition, no transfer of fees will be allowed to any other program after the second class meeting.
CLASS PICK-UP Parents must pick up children immediately following the end of each class or program in the designated classroom of the child's activity. Children will be released only to authorized guardians. Written notification must be provided if alternate arrangements are made, including if a child is permitted to walk home. Please respect the commitments of our instructors and arrive promptly for pick-up. Email us with any schedule changes at: AfterSchool@bbns.org.
LATE FEES Ten minutes after the end of each class or program is considered late. Children waiting for late parents will be supervised in MSX until the child's ride has arrived. As a result, families will be charged a Late Fee equal to the MSX daily rate for any late pickups regardless of the amount of time. Excessive lateness may result in the removal of your child from any future MSX programs.
IMPORTANT - RESPONSIBILITIES - NEW SLIP POLICY All participants are required to conform to all school policies and community standards currently in effect. Disregard for these policies and/or standards may result in the student receiving a slip from MSX that will be reported to the school administration. Late or unexcused tardiness to MSX is an infraction that will result in a slip. Repeated or serious offenses may result in a child’s removal from the program either on a temporary basis or a permanent basis as determined by After School Program director.
FINANCIAL AID Financial Aid is available on a limited basis. Aid will be granted for After School Programs at the same percentage rate as received for tuition. All aid applicants should register for all desired programs online. On the final registration page (payment page), those families interested in aid should check "applying for aid" AND pay the registration fee of $25.00 per class/program for each child. Families will be notified of any aid provided and will be required to make the payment balance within 10 days of notification of aid. Non-payment of balances may result in the loss of your selected class/program.
EMPLOYEE DISCOUNTS AND RATES All children of BB&N employees are eligible to receive MSX care at any time for no additional cost. Employees are required to pre-register their child/children for MSX prior to utilizing MSX care. Children will ALWAYS be accepted in MSX regardless of whether or not they are registered for MSX. We will follow up with parents if and when they have failed to register their child for a day they came to us. We expect all families to pre-register their child for MSX whenever possible. MSX can be ordered via the online registration page at any time.
NON-DISCRIMINATION POLICY BB&N’s After School Programs do not discriminate on the basis of age, race, color, nationality, gender, orientation, ethnic origin, or religious beliefs, in its admissions, financial aid, or any policies governing its program.
