Welcome, families interested in the Lower School at Buckingham Browne & Nichols School.
As you read information about our curriculum and program and see photos of our school, you will get a snapshot of our daily campus life. Beginning in the youngest grades through Sixth Grade, we establish a nurturing environment where children are encouraged to express their own ideas through writing and speaking, be respectful and caring of others, and experience academic discoveries and challenges that make learning rewarding and fun. At the heart of our program are the special relationships that our faculty have with their students. These are visible in all subject areas and classrooms as well as special plays and events, field trips, camping trips, and after-school activities.
But reading about BB&N is just a first step. Please come for a visit and spend some time with our students and faculty. I’m sure you will experience what I feel everyday – learning is happening everywhere for everyone!
