ASAP: Puddlestompers
Puddlestompers: Nature ExplorationCome explore nature after school! Join us for outdoor science and nature exploration classes. We will investigate the changes in nature as winter warms to spring! Explore the buds and evergreens of winter and the new growth of spring. Look for animal homes and the creatures that live there. Delve into the life cycles of insects. Listen and look for birds in flight. Observe changes in light through shadows and rainbows. Hunt for evidence of the coming spring. We will use hands-on exploration activities, active movement and play, crafts, and stories to investigate the natural world around us. We will have the children outside and running as we explore, as much as temperatures allow. We have so much to explore: Snow and tracking, Winter Birds, Hibernation, Insects in winter, Evergreens, Spiders, Decomposers, Animal Homes, Butterflies, and Salamanders!
