Technology

The use of computers in the Lower School support and enhance the curriculum. We believe that computer use is most effective when integrated throughout the curriculum.

Our programs:

• are developmentally appropriate;
• are directly related to classroom content;
• offer students and teachers new ways of looking at the traditional curriculum;
• encourage thinking and stimulate inquiry;
• foster collaboration and communication; and
• challenge and motivate a wide range of students.

Computers are located in each homeroom, the science classroom, and the libraries, as well as in our two computer laboratories. Internet safety strategies are explained and reinforced.
