All-Star Debaters Tackle Healthcare IssueTensions were high in the US Theater as two teams of sophomore “all-star” debaters prepared to face off in this year’s Spring Debate. Picking a topic straight from the headlines, the students argued opposing sides of a resolution that the individual mandate of the Affordable Care Act should be declared unconstitutional. More

BB&N Math Team Finishes Second in State MeetThe BB&N math team continued its trend of excellence recently when it finished second among small schools at the State Math Meet on Monday, April 2nd. Competing with over 450 students from area schools in grades 10 through 12, BB&N “mathletes” calculated and quantified their way to the finals with skill and poise. More

Students Take on Italian Accents in US MusicalDuring the Upper School Winter performance of Do I Hear a Waltz?, the actors spoke such wonderful Italian, as well as English with Italian accents, that the audience felt as though they were practically in Italy. Set in Venice in 1964, the Arthur Laurents play tells the story of Leona Samish, a single, middle-aged woman in search of romance, and who hopes to find it on her trip to Italy. More
