BB&N Community Revels in Night of Knights Celebration
Oh, what a Knight!
Close to 600 parents, alumni/ae, faculty, and friends came down with Knight Fever on October 29, 2011, as they braved insanely early snowfall to gather together at the Nicholas Athletic Center to celebrate the vibrancy of the BB&N community, as well as the jubilant news of the successful wrap-up of the Opening Minds Campaign.
Knights in shining armor set the courtly, chivalrous tone for the evening’s festivities, and the mood was buoyed even further by the announcement that a remarkable $63,076,659 was raised during the Campaign to support faculty and students, build and enhance facilities, and grow the Annual Fund to new heights.
This new milestone in BB&N’s philanthropic history would not have been possible without the extraordinary generosity of the more than 5,450 parents, alumni/ae, grandparents, and friends who participated in the Campaign with gifts both large and small. In the words of the knight who graced the screen at the gala: We are forever grateful!
