Sixth Grade Travels the Globe in Spring MusicalBB&N sixth graders tackled The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley, Jr. for their spring performance this year. The story tells the tale of Stanley Lambchop’s desire to “travel the world, doing amazing things.” He makes a wish on a falling star and, after some help from his bulletin board, suddenly finds himself flat. Taking advantage of the situation, Stanley uses the US Postal service to mail himself to such places as Hollywood, Paris, and Honolulu. More
“Debbie and Friends” Bring Music to Lower SchoolMorse Building students were treated to the musical magic of kids’ group Debbie and Friends this week. In an interactive show featuring stories, videos, audience participation, and of course music, Debbie and Friends had students grinning and singing for the entirety of their 40 minute set. More

Fourth Grade Gets Energized with Solar-Powered CarsLate last fall, fourth graders at BB&N spent some time during social studies exploring the impact we all have on our environment. Students learned about pollution and discussed ways to help such problems. While all of these discussions took place in homeroom, in science class the students were presented with demonstrations about alternative energies as a solution to the environmental problems of the world.
