Senior Wins First Place in National Photo Contest

BB&N is proud to share that senior Francesca Santucci was recently awarded first place in the Drexel University High School Contest Exhibition for her photograph titled Peaches and Pancetta.

Santucci’s contemplative still life bested 1,849 other submitted photographs, and will have premiere placement among the 140 photos that were chosen to hang in the contest’s resulting exhibit.

Sponsored by Drexel’s Antoinette Westphal College of Media Arts and Design (one of the 12 schools that make up Drexel University in Philadelphia,) the contest is held annually to solicit the best high school photography from around the country.

For her win, Santucci was awarded a cash prize and an invitation to the exhibit’s opening reception. The exhibition will run from February 4 through March 2 in the university’s photography gallery located on 33rd and Arch Streets, Philadelphia.
