BB&N charted new territory this year with the first interscholastic match of the varsity club squash team against an established team from Fessenden which offers squash as an official team sport. The highlight of the season for the team was a victory against the Fesse Bears in close competition by a score of 7-5 with BB&N winning all seven matches at the top of the ladder! More
Ethan Lasser began BB&N in the seventh grade and, after six years and two campuses, graduated in 1995. On the Upper School campus, he remembers Mr. Edbrooke as the most influential teacher he encountered. Their paths crossed on many occasions: advisory, history classes, and Student Council. Ethan, who was all school president his senior year, remembers Mr. Edbrooke fondly as an inspiring teacher and a great faculty leader to the Student Council. More
For over 60 years the BB&N Circus has been offering family fun to students, parents, and alums of all ages, and this year is no different. Mark your calendar for May 5th and come celebrate this community event, as well as Cinco de Mayo, on the Lower School Campus! The day will include rides, games, raffles, and more! More
As a result of the early and enthusiastic support received from all members of the BB&N community of donors, including Alumni(ae), Parents, Past Parents, Grandparents, Faculty and Staff, the 2011-2012 Annual Fund has reached 73% of its goal of $2,655,000 to date. The Upper School Art Gallery’s latest exhibit may be titled “One Hundred and One Owls Flew In”, but it was a different kind of fly-in at the gallery—the invasion of dozens of Beginner students—that turned the Grand Opening into an historic occasion for BB&N. More

The BB&N community gathered once again this year to commemorate the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with a celebration brunch. Featuring student speakers, a visiting gospel group, and student dancer Axel Lopez ’13, the brunch hit all of the right notes. More

Unbeknownst to many, BB&N’s Renaissance Hall harbors a secret: one of contemporary jazz’s finest pianists, Pandelis Karayorgis. Karayorgis’ latest album, System of 5, features eight original compositions arranged by the Upper and Middle School jazz teacher for his nationally lauded Karayorgis Quintet. More
