Summer at BB&N Information

Our goal at BB&N is to provide a valuable and enjoyable learning environment for boys and girls during the summer months. We give all campers a careful balance of recreational and creative activities in small groups. Our Day Camp is both comfortable and friendly, and we believe in a program that encourages new friendships to develop and established ones to grow. Whether you spend one week with us or several, we are hopeful that you will look back on a well-rounded experience full of fond memories that will last a lifetime.

Camp Staff
Our counselor staff is comprised of educators, specialists, skilled caretakers as well as mature college and high school students. Counselors are hired to work the entire season, and their minimum age is sixteen. The primary goal of every counselor is to care for, as well as nurture, the physical, creative and emotional well-being of our campers.

Facility Information
After three years of planning, construction, and hard work by the entire BB&N community, the much anticipated Upper School renovation project has been completed.  Our summer camp will be able to benefit from this additional space and be able to continue to offer a healthy balance of creative and recreational activities throughout our BB&N campuses.

Food
This summer, a variety of hot and cold lunches will be prepared each day by BB&N's dining service staff. All food is included as part of the weekly Day Camp tuition. Campers also receive a daily snack, with juice or milk. We are a peanut/nut - aware campus.

The Buckingham Browne & Nichols Summer Day Camp complies with regulations of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and is licensed by the Cambridge Board of Health.
