PIN (Parents' Independent School Network) is hosting its final webinar of the year. PIN is a volunteer group of parents who have students at New England area independent elementary and secondary schools. To be part of this on-line seminar, register in advance at:

2012 Distinguished Alumnus Award presented to John Simon '80.  Simon will be recognized for his distinguished philanthropic work, especially in the field of human and children services.

Remind your students to wear their blue and gold! Come cheer and show your support for BB&N Athletics. MS students will celebrate Spirit Day at school with a pep rally. Parents and family members attend games to cheer on teams and promote school spirit. Keep your ears open for volunteer opportunities like providing team snacks.

Drop your students off for an evening of fun, music, dancing, snacks (not dinner!) and hanging out. We aim for 100% participation. We call it a mix so "non-dancers" still feel comfortable attending. This is a student-only eventwith a charge of $5 per student. The Mix is chaperoned by faculty and parent volunteers. The doors are open from 7-7:30pm. Any late arrivals need to be pre-approved by the Grade Dean; students are required to stay for the entire Mix. All students must be picked up by a parent. Any student walking home must have advance approval. Students may invite up to 2 guests who must be registered beforehand by signing up in the Front Office by Friday at dismissal. All BB&N students are responsible for their guests and must familiarize them with the rules and expectations. Pick up is promptly at 9:30pm.

Parents will be needed to chaperone from 6:30pm - 10pm and to bring snacks. Please keep a look out for the volunteer sign up.

Online registration has closed. If you have not yet registered and wish to attend Strawberry Night, please report to Walk-In Table inside the Upper School front entrance on Saturday evening. 

Celebrate the artistic accomplishments of our students in BB&N's 19-year partnership with Boston's Museum of Fine Arts.

BB&N alumni/ae and families are welcome to join current students and families for this annual tradition. Be our guest for free admission to the entire Museum collection and a featured exhibit of BB&N student work.

6:30-8:00 PM: 9th Grade- Students meet upperclassmen; Parents gather with the 9th Grade Team.  All hear an introduction to Bivouac.

6:30-7:30 PM: 10th/11th Grade- Students and Parents hear from a student panel with follow-up Q&A.

When the lot at the Main School Building is full, please park in Lot 4 (see attached map). A shuttle will be available to bring you to the the Main School Building.

We are in need of yummy dishes from parents and need volunteers to staff this event. If you plan to donate food, your dish must generously serve 10-12 people. All dishes must be cooked and able to serve cool.  We cannot cook or re-heat and cannot accommodate crock pots.  All food items should be placed on disposable platters with a label of description.

Field day is a day of friendly competition among the seventh grade homerooms. We need eight parent volunteers to help with the barbecue lunch. This is a great volunteer opportunity to enjoy a day in the sun at the grill. Please contact Karen Wang and Melissa Boudreau to volunteer.
