Other OpportunitiesOne School, One World This is an every other year all-school celebration of Diversity/Multiculturalism at BB&N. The event brings together parents, students, faculty, alums, and even grandparents from all three campuses for a lively, energetic, interactive, informative and fun experience for all. The various elements of the day include cultural tables organized by parents from various backgrounds, a huge center stage for performances by only BB&N students, faculty tables highlighting ways in which they integrate multiculturalism into their curriculum/department, various cultural displays, food from around the world, and student art adorns the gym. The majority of the work is done by an incredible army of parent volunteers and also faculty. Please contact: Charmaine Tyler Circus Committee The Circus is BB&N’s All-School fair held the first Saturday in May. Proceeds from the circus support the annual fund financial aid budget for the Lower School. Many BB&N families and students from the Middle School and Upper School help staff games, activities, and food booths. If you would like to contribute time or services, please volunteer. Parent Annual Fund The BB&N Annual Fund is conducted each year to raise the funds necessary to fill the gap between tuition and the actual cost of a BB&N education. Every year more than 90% of BB&N parents contribute to the Annual Fund. Contributions support the operating budget for faculty salaries, financial aid, and operating expenses. Consider volunteering for the Parent Annual Fund committee which gives every family the opportunity to contribute. Please contact: Alex Ablon, Annual Fund Director
BB&N Products A wide array of BBB&N Products are available to purchase on-line. Community members can show school spirit by purchasing athletic wear, outerwear, headwear and other novelty items. Custom designed t-shirts provide a tangible memory of the year’s activities and events such as Bivouac and the LS Circus. New Family Welcome Ambassadors Welcome new families when admitted. Telephone periodically throughout the year to answer questions and to encourage families to attend informational and community-building events, to volunteer and become involved.
