Succeeding at BB&N

Students who succeed at BB&N are as different as you could imagine, but they share some common characteristics. They are bright, open-minded, curious about the world around them, and eager to learn. They welcome a challenge, and they do the work that’s required to meet that challenge. They are willing to take risks because they understand that often the most valuable learning comes when you try, fall, get up, and try again. They are multi-talented and enjoy and thrive in areas beyond the classroom – they are artists, athletes, writers, leaders, singers, and much more.

Learning is a contact sport at BB&N. Active engagement and mutual respect are the rules, and everybody plays. Classrooms are arenas where creativity, inquisitiveness, and passion are on display. It’s OK to be outgoing or reserved or anything in between, but we want you to: 1) have an opinion, and 2) be willing to express it.

A BB&N education is not something that’s delivered to you, but an experience you’re immersed in. For students who thrive here, that’s exactly where they want to be.
