Step Three:

BB&N Lower School Evaluation Requirements

5th and 6th Grade Applicants: All applicants in this range are evaluated by BB&N teachers and are required to attend BB&N's Evaluation Day on Friday, January 26th, 2018. In addition, we require either the SSAT or the ISEE entrance exam (you may click the links below to register). BB&N's school codes for each site, which allows you to send the test results directly to BB&N through the testing agencies are listed below the buttons.

1st through 4th Grade Applicants: All applicants in this range are evaluated by BB&N teachers at the end of January of the entry year for which they are applying. The exact date will vary from year to year. For entry in the Fall of 2018, the Evaluation Day is Friday, January 26th, 2018. All 1st through 4th grade applicants are required to attend this event. To reserve a space, call the Lower School Admission Office at 617-800-2471.

Beginner and Kindergarten Applicants: All applicants in this range are evaluated by BB&N teachers on Saturday or Friday evaluation days. These events last approximately 1.5 hours. Two Saturday dates and one Friday date are available, with two time slot options for each date. The exact dates will vary from year to year. For entry in the Fall of 2018, the dates are Saturday, December 2nd, 2017; Saturday, January 6th, 2018; and Friday January, 26th, 2018. To reserve a space, call the Lower School Admission Office at 617-800-2471. Parents are urged to reserve a spot as early as possible, as space is limited.
